SUMMARY
The Store Manager provides all Bowl Reps and managers with the guidance and information to perform their jobs to the highest standard. They are responsible for maintaining store operations. Store Manager sets goals and plans for management team to work towards and accomplish. They manage, coach and develop the Leads, People Manager and Assistant Manager daily. The Store Manager is responsible for ensuring staff is providing an excellent customer service experience as well as monitoring the financial performance of the store.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

OVERSEE ASSISTANT MANAGER AND PEOPLE MANAGER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Seek out new key vendors based on price and quality
  • Create and maintain worksheets
  • Community Outreach
  • Invoicing
  • Recruit / Interview / Hire
  • Training / Retraining / Retaining Bowl Reps
  • Conduct Performance Reviews
  • Scheduling and maintaining Labor Target
  • Maintain spreadsheets and company documentation
  • Finalize and publish weekly schedule
  • Event / catering planning needs
    • Approve monthly Event Lead submissions
  • Supervise Employees
  • Open / Close Duties
  • Food & labor cost control
  • Purchasing & inventory control, maintaining positive vendor relations 
    • Complete Month End Inventory
  • Maintain equipment
  • Work closely with Lead Bowl Reps, members of Management and Owner
  • Cash management
  • Manager ServSafe certification
  • Attend and contribute to Bowl Rep Meetings and Manager Meetings
  • Attend all company sponsored events

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Minimum of two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS
Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

COMPUTER SKILLS
Proficiency with Apple products,  specifically MacBook and iPad, with experience using Numbers, Pages and other Apple based software.
